Dear UNE Local 00210 members,
UNE Local 00210 will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Date: on March 3, 2025, 6pm

Parking available at 75 Holly Street Toronto ON M4S 3A5 (3 MINUTE WALK)
Closest subway station is Eglinton at 2190 Yonge St Toronto ON M4S 2B8 (5 MINUTE WALK).

B) HONEY GARLIC TOFU BITES-Spiced, fried tofu cubes tossed in honey garlic sauce. (vegetarian)
C) HOISIN GINGER CHICKEN BITES- Spiced, fried and tossed in a tangy ginger sesame sauce.

F) ENGLISH STYLE FISH & CHIPS -Two pieces of beer battered haddock fillets, coleslaw, fries and tartar sauce.
G) CHICKEN FINGERS – Served with coleslaw, fries and plum sauce.
H) SMOTHERED CHICKEN-Two pieces of grilled chicken breasts, creamy peppercorn sauce, goat cheese, sautéed mushrooms and crispy onions. Served with mashed potatoes, roasted peppers and zucchini.
I) BUDDHA BOWL- Crispy sweet marinated tofu, avocado, warm rice, cucumber, carrots, radishes and grape tomatoes with vidalia onion dressing. Topped with pea shoots and sesame seeds. (vegetarian & vegan-friendly)
J) CREAMY GARLIC TUSCAN SALMON & SHRIMP-Pan seared salmon, topped with sautéed shrimp, grape tomatoes, spinach and roasted red pepper in a creamy mushroom sauce. Served on a bed of brown rice.

6) Allow the Local president and other executive officers an opportunity to report on their activities to the membership.
7) Table the treasurer’s report including the year-end financial statement, the proposed budget and any related items.
8) Provide a forum for Local committees to share their reports.

– Form a Local Resolutions Committee
9) Table any bylaw changes, assuming a minimum 30-day notice period has been provided. Please note that a two-thirds majority vote is required to bring changes to bylaws, assuming that quorum has been achieved.
10) Propose any changes to Local dues, assuming a minimum 30-day notice period has been provided. Please note that changes to Local dues require a simple majority of members voting (i.e. more than 50%), assuming that quorum has been achieved.
– Motion to raise union dues $1.00 per member per month to go into the Local 00210 strike fund.

13) Elect Local officers to form the Local executive. Please note that the roles and responsibilities of Local officers can be found in UNE Policy LOC 8.
– As per Local Bylaw 7 Section 6 Elections will be conducted by secret ballot and will proceed in odd years in the order of (President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Health and Safety Representative).
– Elections of vacant Local officers
– Appointment of Local stewards
14) Administer and sign the oath of office for newly elected Local executive members. The oath must be administered by an authorized UNE officer and signed by each elected member of the Local executive. Please note that Local executive members cannot assume office until the oath is administered.
15) Table other business as appropriate.
16) Announce any upcoming union events.
17) Forum for guest speakers to make presentations.
